Ahhh, the weekend . . .

Well, I laved lived to another Saturday, and I guess I am okay with that. We haven't heard for sure what day, but it looks Like the wife enters the hospital this coming week to try and surgically resolve the ongoing wound issue on her leg. The new specialist, Dr. William Ennis, seems to REALLY have his shit together and plans to aggressively treat Paula's leg and get some results. Right now she is so tired and discouraged she isn't sure anything will help, but I am trying to maintain hope. This has been a long road for her, and for over six months has had no end in sight. I am sincerely hoping a week from now we have something positive to report and can maybe be more hopeful for the future.

I just hope for a quiet weekend and some rest to prepare for a hectic week ahead.

Please tell Paula that Sar and I have her (and you) in our prayers. Too bad that it's gotten to this point, but hopefully, the surgery will help.

Peace.

Thanks to you both for caring, I sincerely keep going because of the love I have for my friends and family. I really hope we can start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel and I can go back to being my smart ass self pretty soon. Man, this depression shit sucks ass.

Much love.

You know what you need? A fvcking awesome party.

Seriously...when was the last awesome party you went to? Toga 87 at the house on Hillsboro? I wasn't even there. ;) I think the last party I went to and had a real BLAST at was, New Year's Eve 1993. Is that sad, or what?

I've tried to have parties since, costume party for my 27th birthday, a toga back in 2000...and it's just not as fun. What was it about the old days? If I went to a party now where everyone but me was ripped, I'd be bored to tears. I like to sit around and watch movies and eat now. That's my idea of fun.

I'm an octogenarian in the body of a 35 year old. *headdesk*

We should have a party. \m/
